Sanandaj; The continued detention of Tariq Rahimpour and uncertainty of his fate
Twenty days have passed since the arrest of 39-year-old Tariq Rahimpour, the son of Moses from the village of "Uihang" in Sanandaj, and there are no information about his fate.
According to an informed source, this citizen has been denied access to a lawyer, phone calls and family visits.
This informed source added: Despite the follow-ups, the intelligence forces refuse to provide a clear answer to his family regarding the fate and accusations against this citizen.
This informed source stated: Mr. Rahimpour is under pressure so that they obtain a forced confessions in the detention center of Sanandaj Intelligence Department.
On Wednesday, the 20th of September, 12 intelligence officers arrested this citizen without a court order and severely beat him at his workplace.
So far, no detailed information has been obtained about the reason for the arrest and the charges against this Kurdish citizen.
On Sunday, the 3th of May 2020, Tariq Rahimpour was arrested by the security forces and later by the first branch of the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court headed by Judge "Saeidi" on the charge of "collaborating with one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian government" sentenced to four years of suspended imprisonment and due to the IRGC's complaint he was sentenced to one year in prison for "disobedience and insulting the government and government officials".
