The 5th eye surgery of Masoud Rahimpour, a Kurdish protester from Saqqez, in Nikookari Hospital in Tabriz

On Saturday, October 7th, 2023, the fifth eye surgery of Masoud Rahimpour, a protester from Saqqez, was performed in Nikookari Hospital in Tabriz.

According to a source, another surgery for the eye retina transplant was performed in Nikookari Hospital in Tabriz, the silicone oil of his eye was drained and an eye lens was placed for him.

On the evening of September 19th, 2022, Masoud Rahimpour was severely injured in the eye by the shooting of the repressive forces during the revolutionary uprising of Jin, Jiyan, Azadi in the "Karimabad" district of Saqqez.

Masoud Rahimpour went to Khomeini Hospital in Saqqez after 36 hours for fear of being arrested and was transferred to Nikookari Hospital in Tabriz after being diagnosed by the doctors of this hospital.

Previously, despite undergoing four surgeries for Mr. Rahimpour's right eye, his eye vision ability was less than 20 percent.

Masoud Rahimpour from Saqqez was born in 1989 and his job was plastering.
