The continued detention and indecision of Hemn Kermanj, a citizen of Bokan

Despite the passage of more than five months since the arrest of Hemn Kermanj, a citizen of Bukan, he is still in detention.

According to an informed source, this citizen was denied access to a lawyer and visit with his family during his detention.

This informed source added: Intelligence departments refuse to provide a clear answer to his family about the fate and accusations against Mr. Kermanj.

Hemn Kermanj, son of Osman, from "Yasikand" village, of Bokan district, was arrested by the security forces on the 28th of April without an arrest warrant and was transferred to a security detention center in Urmia for interrogation.

So far, no detailed information has been obtained about the reason for the arrest and the charges against this Kurdish citizen.
