A month without news about the fate of Safa Aeli, uncle of Jina-Mehsa Amini

After a month has passed since Safa Aeli's arrest, the uncle of Jina-Mahsa Amini's, there is no concrete information of his fate.

According to an informed source, Safa Aeli's family has repeatedly approached the court and intelligence departments in Saqqez and Sanandaj to find out about the situation and accusations against him, but they have not been given an answer.

This informed source added:  up to this date Mr. Aeli  has been denied access to a lawyer and meeting with his family.

 On Tuesday, the 5th of September Safa Aeli, the uncle of Jina-Mahsa Amini, was arrested by the intelligence forces and taken to one of Sanandaj's security detention centers for interrogation.

Security forces raided Mr. Aeli's house without presenting a court order and arrested him.

So far, no detailed information has been obtained about the reason for the arrest and the charges against Safa Aeli.
