Mahabad; Arrest of Amir Seyedi Due to "Online Activities" by Security Forces

On the evening of Monday, August 21st, a Kurdish young man named "Amir Seyedi," from Mahabad, was arrested by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.

According to an informed source to Kurdpa; security forces detained this 25-year-old citizen without any judicial warrant. Amir Seyedi is the owner of a cafe in the Makayil Garden of Mahabad and has been active on social media.

The source added: After arresting Mr. Seyedi, security forces confiscated some of his personal belongings.
