Oshnavieh; Detention of Samad Shabouyi by Security Forces

On Monday, August 21st, a Kurdish citizen named "Samad Shabouyi," 38 years old, from the village of "Shahvaneh," a part of Oshnavieh, was detained by security forces after being summoned to the intelligence office of this city.

According to an informed source, security forces have so far refrained from providing a clear response about the fate of this citizen to his family.

On Tuesday, July 11th, Siamand Shabouyi, the brother of Samad Shabouyi and a member of the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan, was assassinated by agents of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Erbil, Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
