The murder of Musa Ismaeili, a detained civilian from Piranshahr under torture by Urmia Intelligence agents
Musa Ismaeili, a detained civilian from Pasveh in the Piranshahr area, lost his life under torture by agents at the Urmia Intelligence Detention Center.
According to an informed source, on Saturday, July 8th, Musa's father was summoned to the Urmia Intelligence Office through a phone call. After visiting this security institution, he was informed that "his son had lost his life under torture," and they handed over the death certificate to him.
The source added that the security forces informed Musa Ismaeili's father that "no funeral procession would be allowed, and they have no right to hold a funeral ceremony for his son in the mosque."
The source further stated that Musa Ismaeili had been deprived of his rights during his two months of detention, including the right to make phone calls, meet with his family, and access to a lawyer.
On Sunday evening, May 7th, this civilian had been detained without a judicial order by security forces on charges of "membership in one of the opposition Kurdish parties to the Iranian government."
Furthermore, the security forces have confiscated Mr. Ismaeili's vehicle.
Musa Ismaeili, the son of Mohammad Amin, was born on December 7, 1991. He is married and has two children.
