"Piranshahr; Three Kurdish citizens sentenced to prison
Three Kurdish citizens named "Jamal Alizadeh", "Hasel Ghadou" and "Abdulrahman Mohammadi Arshad", residents of Piranshahr city, were sentenced to prison by the second branch of the Mahabad Revolutionary Court headed by Judge "Ajaqloo".
According to the issued verdict, Jamal Alizadeh was sentenced to 30 months in prison on charges of "collaborating with dissident media", Hasel Ghadou was sentenced to four years and six months in prison on charges of "conspiracy and collusion to commit a crime against national security", and Abdulrahman Mohammadi Arshad was also sentenced to four years and six months in prison on charges of "conspiracy and collusion to commit a crime against national security".
The court's verdict against these three Kurdish citizens was officially communicated to them in recent days.
On Sunday, February 12, 2023, Jamal Alizadeh was temporarily released from Naghadeh Prison until the end of the legal proceedings, after depositing a three billion tomans bail.
Mr. Alizadeh was transferred to the Urmia Intelligence Detention Center for questioning and then to Naghadeh Prison after the interrogation process was completed.
On the evening of Tuesday, October 18, 2022, security forces raided Jamal Alizadeh's house and arrested him without presenting a judicial order.
Also, on Thursday, February 2, 2023, Hasel Ghadou and Abdulrahman Mohammadi Arshad were temporarily released from Naghadeh Prison until the end of the legal proceedings after depositing a three billion tomans bail each.
These two citizens were transferred to one of the Urmia security detention centers for questioning and were then transferred to Naghadeh Prison after the interrogation process was completed.
