Sanandaj; Mullah Hossein Alimoradi sentenced to two years suspended imprisonment

On Tuesday, April 4th, Mullah Hossein Alimoradi, the Imam of "Ibrahim Khalilullah" Mosque in Sanandaj and the director of the religious sciences and Quran memorization school "Ibrahim Khalilullah", was sentenced to two years suspended imprisonment by the special court for clergy in Hamedan.

The court accused Mullah Hossein Alimoradi of "disturbing public opinion".

This Kurdish cleric was summoned to the special court for clergy in Hamedan for the second time on Tuesday, April 4th to make his final defense.

This Kurdish cleric was arrested in February 2023.
