Intentional hit and run of a Kurdish Kolbar by a government military vehicle in Baneh
On Sunday, April 23rd, a Kolbar named "Mohammad Latif Ahmadpour" from Baneh, who was severely injured as a result of an intentional hit and run by a government military vehicle, died after four days of hospitalization due to his injuries.
According to an informed source who spoke to Kurdpa, on Thursday, April 20th, this Kolbar, along with several other kolbars, were chased and run over intentionally by government military vehicles while returning from a border crossing in Hang-e Jal, Baneh.
The source stated that one of the government soldiers had extended his hand out of the vehicle and threw Ahmadpour to the ground by his neck. After dragging him for several meters, the Kobar lost his balance and was run over by the back tires of the vehicle.
The source added that Ahmadpour suffered from multiple fractures in his neck and shoulders and was transferred to Shafa Hospital in Saqqez due to the severity of his injuries.
The source also stated that Kamal Khedri, the governor of Baneh, contacted the family of Ahmadpour after his death and threatened them to bury their son's body secretly and without the presence of the people.
Mohammad Latif Ahmadpour was 36 years old, married, and had one child.
