The right eye of Saman Hemati, a protester from Abdanan, is the only one capable of detecting light

Saman Hemati, a protester from Abdanan, was hit by a shotgun pellet in his right eye from a distance of about 20 meters during the uprising for the revolutionary, life, and freedom on November 18th, 2022.
After being wounded in Imam Ali Square by the repressive forces, he was transferred to Dezful Hospital for medical treatment and then sent to Tehran for further examination.
After three hours of surgery, his eye was stitched up and the appearance of his eye was restored, but his right eye is only capable of detecting light.
This protester is currently undergoing a seven-month treatment period and will need further surgery on his right eye.
Saman Hemati is the son of Fathollah and Nashmieh, born on December 28th, 2000, in Abdanan.
