Oshnavieh; Ayoub Aghaliani was sentenced to imprisonment and flogging

On January 15, 2023, a Kurdish citizen named "Ayoub Aghaliani", 22 years old, son of Jahangir, was sentenced to 10 years and six months in prison and seventy lashes by the branch 101 of the Oshnavieh Criminal Court 2. 

 The court of this citizen was conducted by video conference without access to a lawyer and the court sentenced him to four years of imprisonment on the charges of "assembly and collusion to commit a crime against the internal security of the country", "disturbance of public order and peace" to one year of imprisonment and seventy lashes, "Vandalism" to one year and six months of imprisonment and "participation in the deliberate set firing on public property" to four years of imprisonment with the execution of severe punishment and including the previous detention periods.

 Also, in February of this year, Mr. Aghaliani was sentenced to one year and five months in prison in Branch 106 of the Criminal Court of Urmia on charges of "destroying public property with the intention of confronting the system and disrupting public peace and order".

 Ayoub Aghaliani on Saturday, March 11th, in the third branch of the Revolutionary Court of Urmia, on the charges of "disruption of public order and peace (disruption of public order with commotion and controversy) and vandalism with the intention of confronting the regime and armed uprising against the Islamic government (moharebeh)  and armed uprising against the Islamic government)" has been tried.

 This Kurdish citizen from Oshnavieh city was arrested by the security forces on Friday, October 7, 2022 and is currently in Urmia Central Prison.

 According to an informed source, this citizen met his family only once during his detention, and the court has set a bail of 1 billion and 300 million Tomans for his temporary release.
