Sanandaj; Arrest of two Kurdish clerics by security forces

On Monday, January 30th, Mullah Luqman Amini, the imam of Chaharyarnabi Mosque in Sanandaj, and Mullah Ebrahim Karimi Nanaleh, the imam of the Mosque in Nanaleh village of Sanandaj, were arrested by the security forces.

 These two Kurdish clerics were arrested by the security forces on the Marivan road without any court order and then taken to an unknown place.

 After the arrest of Mullah Ebrahim Karimi Nanaleh, the security forces raided his home and searched it.

 Mullah Ebrahim Karimi Nanaleh has been summoned to the special court of Hamadan clergy on February 5th and 7th for defending and supporting popular protests. 

 As of the moment of publishing this news, there is no information about the reason for the arrest and the fate of these two Kurdish clerics.
