Piranshahr; Two Kurdish citizens were sentenced to prison
Two Kurdish citizens named "Hasel Omari" and "Omid Azad Davar" were sentenced to prison by the 102 branch of the criminal court of Piranshahr headed by judge "Amir Mohammadi".
According to the verdict of the court of first instance, Omid Azad Davar was sentenced to three years and seven months in prison on the charge of "gathering and collusion against the national security of the country" and Hasel Omari was sentenced to eight months in prison on the charge of "propaganda against the regime".
These two citizens have also been acquitted of the charge of "disturbance of public peace and order".
On Monday, November 14th, Omid Azad Davar from Piranshahr was arrested by the security forces, and later he was released from Naqdeh Prison by temporarily posting bail until the end of the proceedings.
Hasel Omari from Piranshahr was also arrested by the security forces on November 12th and was released from Naqdeh Prison on Wednesday December 7th after posting bail.
These two citizens were denied access to any lawyer and family visits during their detention.
