Fereshteh Mansouri, a Kurdish protester, was sentenced to six months in prison by the sixth branch of the Ilam Court of Appeal.

Despite having the custody of a child and being the head of the family, the Ilam Court of Appeals issued a six-month prison sentence to Mrs. Mansouri without examining the case and without any access to a lawyer for defense, and declared it final and binding.

According to Article 134 of the Islamic Penal Code, this protester has sentenced to three years and six months in prison by the first branch of the Sarablah Ilam Revolutionary Court on the charges of "disturbing public order and peace", "insulting the leader of the Islamic Republic" and "gathering and colluding against internal security".

Ferishteh Mansouri was arrested by the repressive security forces on October 23rd during the Ilam protests, and after two weeks of detention, she was temporarily released after posting a bail of 550 million tomans.

This citizen was arrested and detained by the security forces in Tabriz city in 2009 and was suspended from education for one semester.

He was also arrested during the protests of 2018 and was forced to write a letter of repentance at the intelligence department of Sarablah city.
