Arrest of a citizen by security forces in Kamyaran

On Thursday, January 19th, a Kurdish citizen named "Ahmad Babakhani" from Kamyaran, was arrested by the security forces.

 According to an informed source, the security forces raided this citizen's house without any court order and arrested him.

 This informed source added: Mr. Babakhani was transferred to an unknown place after his arrest.

 So far, the follow-up of this citizen's family to find out about his fate has been unsuccessful.

 As of the moment of publishing this news, there is no information about the reason for his arrest and the charges against him.

 Ahmad Babakhani is the brother of Moussa Babakhani, a Kurdish political activist who was assassinated by agents of the Islamic Republic of Iran in "Gol Soleimanieh" hotel in Erbil in August 2021.
