27 people have been arrested in the last five days in Javanrud

 Following the bloody suppression and the prevention of the 40th day anniversary ceremony of the seven dead people of Javanrud on Saturday, December 1st by the security institutions of the Iranian government, the growing wave of arrests of the citizens of Javanrud has started since Saturday and this process of suppression is still continuing.

 According to the statistics collected by Kurdpa human rights organization, since Saturday, a total of 27 people with the names;  Arsalan Nazari, Farzad Majidi, Hesam Mohammadi-Tabar, kayvan Sarchmani, Berdia Azizi, Saadi Qadri, Shayan/Shahin Khodamoradi, Osame Yousefi, Yahya Abdi, Idris Fathi, Sadiq Mustafaei, Yaser Hedayati, Idris Badiei, Barzan Emami/Mahdavi, Navid Moradi, Ramsin Rahimi, Mehdi Veisi, Farhad Manouchehri, Fereydoun Ahmadi, Mikael Veisi, Zana Sahragard, Aso (Sayvan) Yari, Irshad Mohammadi, Peyman Sediqi, Sasan Bahrami, Yahya Moradi and Alan Veisi have been arrested in the city of Javanrud.

 According to an informed source to Kurdpa, some of the detainees are under 18 years old and are students.

 Among these people, Irshad Rahmani of the medical staff, Aso (Sayvan) Yari, an athlete, and Arslan Nazari, a civil activist.

 According to sources informed by Kurdpa, the suppression of the people of Javanrud is not limited to arrests, but the atmosphere of the city is highly security-military and the repression forces, from the special unit to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, are scattered throughout the city.  Today, following a statement from a group of scholars, teachers, civil activists, educators, university professors, doctors, nurses, lawyers, students, marketers, women and men, and other sections of Javanrud to support the protests against the rights of the people of Iran and the people of Javanrud, demanding the dismantling of the military siege.  and the economy of this city and the arrest of citizens and the release of those arrested.

 In this statement, different sections of Javanrud also called for the release of all detainees, ending the economic blockade of Kurdistan and Baluchistan, adhering to the judicial system based on internal laws and human rights, ending the killing of people, listening to the people, accepting the diversity of beliefs and rituals, ending the gender discrimination and the approval of Maulana Abdul Hamid and the clerics of Kurdistan.

 Also, on Wednesday, January 4th, Kurdpa's informed sources announced the installation of CCTV cameras in the city's main square as part of the government's suppression plans in Javanrud.

 During the past few days, many reports of the economic blockade of the city of Javanrud have reached Kurdpa.

 In the past five days, following the 40th day anniversary of the death of seven people from the public protests in Javanrud on Saturday, December 31st, the security forces are widely present in all the streets of this city, and the situation in this city is extremely military-security. 

 The people's protest against holding the ceremony of the martyrs and marching to the cemetery was answered with severe repression by the repressive forces, and then a 22-year-old citizen named Burhan Eliasi was killed by the repressors' direct fire and more than 10 other people, including a child, were injured.  

 Since the beginning of the revolutionary protests of the people of Iran and Kurdistan, which began with the murder of Jina-Mehsa Amini, a total of 52 citizens have been arrested in Javanrud.
