Sanandaj; Soma Pourmohammadi, a Kurdish language teacher, was arrested

On Wednesday, January 18th, Soma Pourmohammadi, a Kurdish language teacher and a member of the board of directors of "Nojin" cultural-social association, was arrested by the security forces and taken to an unknown place.

 Mrs. Pourmohammadi has been detained in the Revolutionary Court of Sanandaj while pursuing the case of her husband Idris Menbari.

 On Sunday, December 18, 2022, Idris Manbari, a civil activist and a member of the board of directors of the social-cultural association "Nojin" was arrested by the security forces and is being interrogated in the detention center of the Sanandaj Intelligence Department.

 The security forces arrested Mr. Manbari in his house without providing any court order and after searching the house, they confiscated his laptop and personal belongings and took them away.
