Two Kurdish citizens from Ilam arrested, one disappeared

Kurdistan Press Agency (Kurdpa): Two Kurdish citizens’ whereabouts are unknown after 50 days from having been arrested by the IRGC’s Intelligence Organization.

According to reliable sources, two Kurdish citizens, Hadi Baghernejad and Sajad Faryadi, both of them from the city of Ilam, have been kept in an unknown whereabouts by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)’s Intelligence Organization for 55 days.

Both Hadi and Sajad were under the arrest of the same organization for 12 days two years ago, a source said to Kurdpa’s reporter.

These two citizens have been alleged with “having and using forbidden tools and unauthorized excavation in ancient regions of the city of Ilam”.

A third person whose name is Ahmad Ali and is allegedly involved in the same crime is on the run.

“Ali Ahmad has disappeared for two months during which the IRGC’s intelligence forces have two times a week raided his father’s house.

The forces every time inspect the house and threaten Ali’s family members with arrest”, a source close to Ali told our reporter.
