Kurdpa agency: The Iran border guards opened fire on seven Kolbar wounding one and detaining the others in Sardasht.

According to a report received by Kurdistan Press Agency (Kurdpa), on Sunday, August 27, seven Kurdish Kolbar were shot at and wounded and later detained by the Iran border forces.

The identity of these detainees are as follows:

Bahman Soleymanpour
Hoshyar Soleimanpour
Mohammad Azizi
Ahmad Hassanzadeh
Shaho Hamzaie
“Soran” from “Shlesew” village – injured

These Kolbars are according to Kurdpa’s correspondent from “Bewran” village. They were as our correspondent’s reports were not smuggling any illegal goods at the time of shooting.

Hundreds of Kurdish Kolbar are shot and killed while others are injured as a result of the shootings of these forces.

Kurdish civil activists call this indiscriminate shooting and killings tragic as many are forced into poverty due to lack of employment opportunity and are subsequently shot and killed by the regime forces upon trying to provide for their families through Kolbari.
