According to an informed source speaking to “Kurdpa,” Mostafa Kamarkhani was arrested on January 11, 2026, by security forces without the presentation of a judicial warrant and was initially transferred to an unknown location. Despite the passage of over a month and prior promises of temporary release, relevant authorities have refused to fulfill this commitment, and he continues to be held in Ilam Prison without clear legal status.
During his period of detention, this Kurdish youth has been deprived of the right to access a lawyer. Reports indicate that he suffered a severe eye injury during interrogation and torture sessions, raising grave concerns about his health and the lack of medical attention.
