Bojnurd; Maliheh Firouzei, 32-year-old young woman from Bojnurd, identified as another victim of January 9 Killed by a live bullet shot to the head and a body with signs of torture

February 13, 2026; “Maliheh Firouzei,” a 32-year-old young woman from the city of “Bojnurd,” has been identified as another victim of the popular protests of January 9, 2026, at the “17 Shahrivar Crossroads” in the city of “Bojnurd,” who lost her life due to the direct firing of a live bullet by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic into her head area.

Two informed sources, while confirming this news to “Kurdpa,” stated that her body was delivered to the family with a long delay and “it was like someone who had been tortured; with broken hands, twisted legs, a body full of pellets, burn marks on the body, and a disfigured face.”

Her body was delivered to the family on February 3, 2026, but they were not permitted to bury her in the city of “Bojnurd”; for this reason, she was buried in her father’s village, the village of “Firouzeh” in the suburbs of the city of “Bojnurd.” Furthermore, the family was placed under intense pressure to declare her cause of death as “suicide,” a demand they did not accept.

An informed source told “Kurdpa” that the mother of “Maliheh Firouzei” is a Kurmanj Kurd and her father is a Turk citizen.
