Qods; Sadegh Ghodsi and Iliya Ghodsi, Kurdish cousins from Tekab, among other January 8 victims By direct and targeted live ammunition fire from behind
January 28, 2026; “Sadegh Ghodsi” and “Iliya Ghodsi,” Kurdish cousins from the village of “Hampa” in Tekab and residents of Tehran, are the identities of two more victims of the popular protests of January 8 in “Qaleh Hasan Khan,” Tehran, who were targeted and killed by direct and targeted live ammunition fire from the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic from the back of the head.
An informed source, while confirming this news to Kurdpa, stated; On January 8, 2026, during the popular protests in “Qaleh Hasan Khan” of “Qods” county in Tehran province, “Sadegh Ghodsi” and “Iliya Ghodsi” were targeted by direct and targeted live ammunition fire from the back of the head.
According to this source, for the delivery of the bodies of these victims, security agencies demanded a sum of 800 million Tomans under the title of “Bullet Money” from the families. Due to the inability to pay this amount, the families have been placed under severe pressure and told that if they do not pay, they must declare that these two young men were “Basij” members and were killed by foreign forces; a matter which is not true, as these two young men were among the popular protesters.
Sadegh Ghodsi was 39 years old, married, and had two children, and Iliya Ghodsi was 18 years old.
