August 17, 2026; With three days having passed since the arbitrary detention of "Hadi Khezri", a Kurdish youth from Oshnavieh, and his transfer to a security detention center in Urmia, there is still no information available regarding his fate. During this period of detention, this Kurdish citizen has been deprived of the right to access a lawyer, family visits, and telephone calls.

According to an informed source speaking to Kurdpa; on the evening of Saturday, August 15, 2026, "Hadi Khezri", 27 years old and from the village of "Haq" in the district of Oshnavieh, was arrested by security forces of the Intelligence Office without presenting a judicial warrant while returning home on one of the streets of Oshnavieh, and was transferred to an unknown location. Following three days of detention and repeated inquiries by his family, it has only been confirmed that he was transferred to a security detention center in Urmia, but no information regarding his fate and condition is available.

Until the time of publication of this news, no information is available regarding the reasons for the arrest and possible charges against this Kurdish citizen, and security forces have offered no explanation in this regard. Furthermore, Hadi Khezri is deprived of the right to access a lawyer, family visits, and telephone calls.

In this regard, on the afternoon of Saturday, August 15, 2026, "Masoud Alani Kohneh-Qaleh", a Kurdish singer from the village of "Singan" and resident of Oshnavieh, was also arrested in a café in Oshnavieh by security forces of the Intelligence Office without presenting a judicial warrant and transferred to an unknown location. Following that, security forces raided his home and, without presenting a legal warrant, confiscated and impounded the mobile phones of his wife and daughter and took them away.
