Adel Pirouzi was released on bail

On January 15, Adel Pirouzi, a former political prisoner from the village of "Sardoush" in the suburbs of Marivan, was temporarily released from the prison of this city by posting a bail of 300 million tomans.

This political prisoner was deprived of access to a lawyer and meeting with his family during his detention.

On November 20, 2023, Adel Pirouzi was arrested after being summoned to the Marivan Intelligence Office and transferred to the Sanandaj Intelligence Detention Center for interrogation with the extension of his temporary detention order.

So far, no accurate information has been obtained about the reason for his arrest and the charges against him.

On March 25, 2020, this former political prisoner was released from Marivan prison due to the outbreak of the Corona crisis.

Adel Pirouzi was arrested in November 2018, on charges of "collaborating with one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian government" and was temporarily released on bail after two months of detention.

This young Kurd was sentenced to 2 years of imprisonment by the judicial system of the Iranian government on the same charge and was transferred to Marivan prison in the winter of 2020 to serve his sentence.
