Kamyaran; 32 days of detention and lack of information regarding Ebrahim Rostami in Sanandaj security detention center Reports of severe torture and hunger strike
February 10, 2026; Following 32 days since the arbitrary detention of “Ebrahim Rostami,” a Kurdish citizen from “Kamyaran” and the father of two daughters, there has been no information regarding his fate or status. On the fourth day of his detention, he informed his family during a brief contact of severe pressure and torture at the Sanandaj Intelligence detention center and the start of his hunger strike; since then, all communication has been cut.
An informed source, while confirming this news to “Kurdpa,” stated; “Ebrahim Rostami” was arrested on Monday, January 9, 2026, by security forces without the presentation of a judicial warrant and was transferred to an unknown location.
Throughout his detention, he has been deprived of the right to access a lawyer, as well as contact and visitation with his family. The continuation of this absolute lack of information has caused intense concern for his family regarding his life and fate.
