On Tuesday, October 27, 2026, a Kurdish Kolbar named "Ali Mashhouri," originally from Saqqez and residing in Baneh, was severely wounded in the leg following gunfire by military forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to an informed source speaking to Kurdpa, government military personnel opened direct fire without prior warning on this Kolbar near the "Broshkani" border outpost in Baneh, leaving him severely injured in both legs.

The informed source added: This Kurdish Kolbar was transferred to a hospital in Baneh for medical treatment.

Ali Mashhouri is married, the father of three children, and a resident of "Kandeh Soureh" village, part of Baneh County.
