August 15, 2026; In the continuation of the wave of arbitrary and mass arrests of Kurdish citizens in the city of Bukan in recent days, "Zakaria Badsar", a Kurdish citizen from Bukan, was also arrested. He was arrested after his father, "Esmail Badsar", was detained in his place by security forces, and the family was informed that his father would not be released until Zakaria presented himself to security agencies.

According to an informed source speaking to Kurdpa; on Saturday morning, August 15, 2026, security forces of the Intelligence Office of Bukan entered the home of the Badsar family by introducing themselves as gas company employees. After realizing that "Zakaria Badsar" was not at home, security forces arrested his father, "Esmail Badsar", in his place.

Following this action, the family was notified that Esmail would not be released until Zakaria presented himself to the Intelligence Office. Subsequently, in the afternoon of the same day, "Zakaria Badsar" turned himself in to the Intelligence Office of Bukan and was arrested by security forces. After Zakaria's arrest, "Esmail Badsar" was released after a few hours.

Until the time of publication of this news, no information is available regarding the reasons for the arrest and possible charges against Zakaria Badsar, and security forces have offered no explanation in this regard. Additionally, this Kurdish citizen is deprived of the right to access a lawyer, family visits, and telephone calls.

With the detention of "Esmail Badsar" and "Zakaria Badsar", the number of Kurdish citizens arrested in Bukan over the past three days, since Thursday, August 13, 2026, has reached seven people. "Omid Chaobaz", "Sedigh Karimi" (a former political prisoner), "Hadi Bayezidi" (a civil activist), "Loghman Ghorbani", and "Mohammad Hajizadeh" are among the other detainees in this wave.
