Saqqez: Arbitrary Arrest of Omid Rahimzadeh, Mehdi Kamali, Zakaria Moradi, and Mohammad Aminpour — No Information After Three Days

August 21, 2025 – Three days have passed since the arbitrary arrest of four Kurdish citizens from Saqqez by agents of the Intelligence Department, yet no information is available regarding their place of detention or current condition.
According to a source who spoke with Kurdpa, on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, Omid Rahimzadeh, 47 years old, son of Mahmoud, from the village of Tavakolian; Mehdi Kamali, 41 years old, son of Saeed, also from Tavakolian; Zakaria Moradi, 35 years old, son of Ali, from the village of Shaqela; and Mohammad Aminpour, 30 years old, son of Ahmad, from the village of Qatlu, all located in Saqqez County, were arrested by Intelligence forces without a judicial warrant and taken to an undisclosed location.
The Kurdpa source adds that three days after the arrests, no information has been made available about the fate of these individuals.
As of the time of this report, the reasons for their arrest remain unknown.
