Salah Osmani was transferred to Naghdeh prison
On February 5, 2024, a Kurdish citizen named "Salah Osmani" from the village of "Kharapeh" and a resident of Piranshahr was transferred to Naghadeh prison after completing the interrogation process from the detention center of the Urmia Intelligence Office.
This citizen was deprived of access to a lawyer and meeting with his family during his detention.
Early on January 16, 2024, security forces raided the home of this citizen without presenting a judicial warrant and arrested him.
Security forces seized and took his mobile phone after searching Mr. Osmani's house.
So far, no accurate information has been obtained about the reason for the arrest and the charges against Salah Osmani.
In 2021, this citizen was acquitted of the charge of "collaborating with one of the Kurdish opposition parties to the Iranian government" in the Piranshahr Revolutionary Court.
On August 23, 2021, this Kurdish citizen was temporarily released from Naghadeh prison until the end of the trial process on bail.
Mr. Osmani was arrested without a judicial warrant by security forces on August 17, 2021, and transferred to one of the security detention centers in Naghadeh on August 19 of the same year.
