Maku Prison; Naser Dalleh went on a hunger strike

Naser (Mohammad) Dalleh, a Kurdish political prisoner from the village of "Zangabad" and a resident of "Shinabad" in Piranshahr, who is serving his sentence in Maku prison, went on a hunger strike.

According to a source close to Kurdpa, this political prisoner has announced a hunger strike by sewing his lips in protest of not being granted leave two days ago.

The informed source added: Despite the agreement of the relevant authorities to grant leave to this political prisoner, the prosecutor of Piranshahr opposed his leave request.

On September 2, 2023, Naser Dalleh was exiled from Naghdeh prison to Maku prison.

This citizen was sentenced to three years of imprisonment by the Revolutionary Court of Mahabad on charges of "waging war", for which he had to spend two years in exile in Maku prison.

On August 25, 2022, security forces arrested this Kurdish citizen without presenting a judicial warrant and transferred him to the detention center of the Piranshahr Intelligence Office.

Naser Dalleh was transferred to one of the security detention centers in Urmia for interrogation after several days of detention in the Piranshahr Intelligence Office.

This citizen was transferred to Naghdeh prison after the completion of the interrogation stages.

Naser Dalleh is the son of Osman, married, and has one child.
