The family of Hedayat Abdollahpour, Kurdish political prisoner calls for a fair and transparent trial for him

Kurdpa Agency: Kurdish political detainee, Hedayat Abdollahpour filed for case review.

According to a report received by Kurdistan Press Agency (Kurdpa), Hedayat Abdollahpour, Kurdish political prisoner sentenced to death has filed for review.

A source close to Abdullahpour’s family confirmed the news and said: \"Hossein Ahmadineyaz, Abdullahpour’s lawyer initiated the request for a case review”. The request has been sent to Tehran’s Supreme Court Branch 47 for review.

According to the source, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) played a key role in Hedayat Abdollahpour’s sentencing. The source who wished to remain anonymous further told Kurdpa that IRGC went as far as fabricating evidence, and even brought in members of the corps as the witness.

The source further noted that \"Hedayat Abdollahpour\'s family are under pressure from the regime’s Intelligence Office in Shno”. The regime authorities have told his family to “refrain from speaking to reporters.”

The source also said that \"Hedayat Abdullahpour\'s family is calling for a fair and transparent trial.”

Hedayat Abdollahpour, son of Abubakr, was sentenced to death by hanging for the second time by the Wrimya Revolutionary Court on charges of \"cooperation with one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian government.\"

Hedayat Abdollahpour is a Kurdish political detainee who is currently held in the Wrimya Central Prison.
