IRGC officials threatened the PDKI with further attacks

Kurdistan Press Agency (Kurdpa): Political Official of the Political-Ideological office of Iran’s Commander-in-chief threated the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (PDKI) with further attacks, mentioning the missile attack on the party’s headquarters in Koya, 60 kilometers far from Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).

In an interview with the semi-official websites of the IRGC, Rasoul Sanaii Rad, Political Official of the Political-Ideological office of Iran’s Commander-in-chief threated the PDKI with further attacks in the case the party continues it political activities in Kurdistan.

“During recent months, the relationship between the anti-revolutionary, traditional, separatist parties in west of the country with a few countries has been developed in order to unify their forces to carry out sabotage operation within the country. The Democratic Party’s officials have openly had official meetings with the US officials after which they carried out a few terrorist and penetrative operations. The IRGC’s firing missile at them was a powerful response to their hostility”, he said.

Claiming that the PDKI’s activities are supported by Israel and Saudi Arabia, he said: “Before firing the missiles , the target points had been chosen precisely by drones”.

On Saturday, the 8th of September, the Democratic Party’s headquarters in Koya were targeted by a missile attack which left 15 party’s leadership members and Peshmergas killed and 40 others wounded.
