Immediate and unconditional demand to release Zahra Mohammadi from custody

Kurdpa Agency: A petition has been filed in support of a detained member of the Nojin Socio-cultural Association.

 A petition was filed in support of Zahra Mohammadi, a Kurdish civil activist and detained member of the Nojin Socio-cultural Association, and its signatories demanded to end up Zahra Mohammadi's unlawful detention and her unconditional release.

 The petition consists, Zahra Mohammadi is only a teacher of Kurdish language and literature and her civic activities have not been in conflict with the laws in Iran. therefore, we, the signatories of this petition, strongly condemn this process of dealing with civil activists.

 The signatories of the petition, while expressing concern over Zahra Mohammadi's general condition, said: "Due to Zahra Mohammadi's physical condition and intestinal disease and her lack of access to medication, we are extremely concerned about her health and the authorities are responsible for maintaining her health and life." 

 On Wednesday, September 18th,  Zahra Mohammadi, a detained member of the Nojin Socio-cultural Association, was taken to the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court without her lawyer Mehrdad Alikhani.

 Zahra Mohammadi, a member of the Nojin Socio-cultural Association and a Kurdish language teacher in Sanandaj, has been detained by the Intelligence forces since May 23rd for unknown reasons. It is worth noting that since his arrest, he has had no access to an independent lawyer and the right to legal counsel, and even contact with her family has been very limited and under very strict security arrangements. In addition, Zahra Mohammadi has not been charged yet and her case is in absolute uncertainty.
